Default RE: Twin Stick

I did a kit review on the Twin Stick and bought a second one for a back up since it was so much fun. See my avatar.

The tanks can be a pain. You make up the plugs, but don't install. You force the tanks into the space, then install the plug through the hole in the firewall. I used Zap-A-Dap-A-Goo to insure the plug stayed in.

I recommend 8 degrees of out thrust on each engine. With this you can do acro on 1 engine-mine has 2 OS .46AXs with APC 11-5 props. With the out thrust, you can lose an engine and not know it if other planes mask the sound.

Great combo-vertical climbs, any acro except 3D. Great diving outside squares.

I also recommend building the plane without the elevator and rudder servo, then check the balance. Mine is on the spar. If you need tail weight, put the rudder servo in front of the tail. If you need more, put the elevator servo in the right side.

It's a great little plane for the price $125. Heck, you can't get a profile for that price. There are a few little things: The gear is weak-I have a larger, stronger gear on it. I also put in longer wing bolts.
