The way I read the MAAC stuff, you need to have a MAAC instructor present when you do your Wings A test. Its pretty straight forward, takeoff, figure 8, recangular circuit and then land under power, if I'm not mistaken. You're MAAC insurance covers you in the states at an AMA field though.

You may be better off posting this question in the MAAC forum, and reading the articles on the maac.ca website.
