turns out that the airplane is just slightly smaller and lighter than a KYOSHO CAP 232 I've got. I built two of them, and put an OS46AX on both and they've got almost unlimited vertical. I can't see any reason that this slightly smaller, lighter airplane would need anything more than that.
BTW, the looks of the ARF kit parts layout shows a motor box for electric for the airplane. And with all the obvious lightening holes in the airframe, I'd suggest that putting a larger engine on that airframe could beat the thing to death.
