The MVS/Evo 26 with a pitts or similar muffler will not outperform the saito 1.80.

It will need the pipe to do that.

Quoted HP figures are meaningless. It's what the prop does that counts.

My MVVS 26 IFS with an 18x8 Bambula and a Bisson in cowl inverted silencer ... best RPM static was 7,100.

I suspect the Saito 1.80 on 10% notro would do another 800 - 1,000 RPM at least.
