Default RE: DP Ultimate 40

I had and flew this plane for over 2 years before I sold it to a club mate. Your nose heavy condition is adding the the heavy feeling considerably. It actually likes to be toward the back of the recommended CG. This plane is very light and REALLY responsive. Start with the CG at recommended or maybe 1/8 inch behind the center of the CG range. Then move back until trim and inverted flight is neutral. When you get there you can begin to back the CG toward the tail. Then hang on. you will find that this plane will shock your socks off. It does everything you can possibly ask of it. It does walls and parachutes as well as flat spins with great authority. DO NOT over power this plane. The first engine I had on it was an OS 70 4 stroke and it torqued this plane into an untrimable condition that nearly cost me the plane on maiden.
