Even though your transition is good you can still be too rich on the low end. You have to listen to the engine from idle up to mid throttle. If it's still a little rich it will 4 cycle (missing every other power stroke). When it's lean enough the 4 cycling will be gone except for a little between idle and 1/4 throttle. When you get to this "area" of perfect low end needle setting, only tiny movements of the low needle are required. It's amazing when you find that perfect low end setting, the engine runs completely better in the air. My buddy's is there. Mine is still a little rich.
