The final weight should not exceed 4.7KG and I have made a detailed excel sheet taking into everything including glue.
I am planning YS160DZ, with Hatori #821 header, Harori #822 Tune and Hyde mount.
The Canopy weights is 225 grams which is very high. According to Sergio after cutting it to the right size it will
end around 75grams. This is a substantial save of 150 grams. If this is true then it will get below 4.6kg which is great.
If not I will not use the original canopy and make a carbon canopy. Also, the Fire wall and other brackets will be changed to
honeycomb. This will give me a save of additional 30-40 grams. I think and I will make the effort to finish this model less then 4.6kg
It will take more time but now I am not in a hurry. I am planning on it for next year season.
