I made some spacers also, mine are plastic, mostly just for looks, to fill the small gap. but as previously stated and I agree -the gap is there for a reason. the digitech gear are incredibly excellent , 50 flts on mine, 0 problems and 0 bent pins. I also went with the heavier nose leg for my rookie 2, due to a lot of weight on mine, and my past experience with bad landings and the damage they can cause. but this gear set is bullet proof and the stock rookie nose leg would have probably done fine for me.. imo-DIGITECH is the best gear set availlable on the planet, superb products Sandor!and this is not a shill but a compliment and an honest recomendation of some great equipment.
