Depends on the truck that you buy. Maybe 20 to 30 mph. I have an EMaxx E = electric and it looks to be hitting around 30 tops. It has a two speed tranny so that helps with the top speed..

Electrics are "plug and play". Plug in your batteries and go play.

Nitros are....fill up the tank with fuel....make sure your carb settings are correct for proper operation....then go play. If you run off-road and get into dirt (no kidding sherlock) then you'll need to do some cleaning after wards. Electrics you can pretty much blow off with an air compressor and have them clean whereas nitros will leave exhaust residue on your rig so there will be more to cleaning it up after wards.
