I drove 1/5 scale race cars for years, hydraulic brakes, different tire compunds, rain tires, tread tires, engines anywhere from 2hp up to a 4.5hp monster, speeds up to 60,65mph. There is nothing like a 1/5scale race, coming down the back straight at 60mph and stopping on a dime for the hairpin! I don't think I would ever go back to a smaller scale (except for tanks, of course).
