I'm running the G3/14MZ setup in my Partner/Hacker combo without problems and with the antenna mounted internally. At the advice of one of the factory pilots, I have a Futaba choke between the Hacker speed control and the Rx. I have my Rx mounted about an inch behind the rear of the batteries and have my battery connections at the opposite end of the batteries, away from the Rx. In addition, my antenna is routed away from both the rudder cables and long leads to the stab-mounted servos. The long leads are routed through retainers so the can't move around and get near the antenna. It's been solid for about thirty flights so far.
