All you need to do is pitch the plane to the landing gear a little the torque roll will stop and the plane will hover just fine . When I go into a hover I start with an elevator down to 10 feet then transition into a harrier and then into a hover and then I pitch the plane on the canopy slightly and begin a torque roll. This works on most platforms very well .I have the 40% RadioCraft Extra 330LX and a 33% Aeroworks Edge540T . Hope that helps some
