To hover, if you're straight up, you need ailerons that are far enought inward to catch the propwash. That way you can put in right aileron input and stop the TR...... If your ailerons arn't full length, they don't do anything. So, to answer your question.... the plane won't stop TRing. I think tiping the plane to the gear is a good idea.... I'll try it.
