I got the VPP set up on the Turmoil and with the normal flight mode set at 0 to 100% on the engine and the prop fixed at 60% it flys awesome. With the idle up 1 set and the prop +-100% and the throttle set as per instructions, I lose most of the RPMs when the prop gets over 60%. It won't even fly forward with the power it looses. I cut the pitch down to 60% and it works, but not well, not even close to the advertised results.

Any ideas on how to keep the RPMs up? I haven't tried playing with the govenor in the speed control yet. That is probably what I am going to have to do. I just haven't had time to figure out how to set it up yet. The Turmoil is a fun plane to fly so far. They were on sale at tower for $20. I would suggetst buying many at that if you want that kind of plane. Its a good price. You have to learn some things about putting their hinge system on, but once you figure that out, its a pretty nice kit. Nothing huge to build.

Any ideas you have on getting more RPM out of this motor in idle up would be appreciated. I haven't playes with electrics before.
