Default RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

I'm not a big fan of horizon, JR, hanger9, that hole thing. I have 1 JR radio (RC car) and it failed so I had to send it back, they didn't fix it right, so it failed again, so I had to send it back the second time. Good thing it wasn't for an airplane. The twist was a decent ARF, but much of the linkage wasn't long enough so I had to replace it. Also, the horizon site is hard to find anything on and they charge way to much for shipping to Alaska.

On the flip side, the tower people have stepped up to the plate and beyond. I bought a cheap $70 trainer from them and when the wing failed due to not being glue together properly at the factory they not only mailed me another plane, but put a used OS 46 engine they had laying around in the box too. It was in decent shape and it is still flying the same trainer around today. It was great that they where willing to replace the engine as it was more expensive than the plane.

I should note that there is one hanger9 product that is better than the rest, and that is ultracote. I think it works that much better than monokote.
