Default RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

Hobie,, GREAT JOB,, If I were you I'd wrap some packing tape around that thing and send her up at Sunrise, she's ready for the sky.

akschu this is where personal preference plays its roll. I prefer Mono-cote over ultracote anyday of the week, but thats just me... I grew up with the ol rice paper and dope thinner so when monocote was introduced I was a very happy man being able to wrap a plane in an evening instead of smelling fumes for a week. but Ultracote to me seems a little weird, it seems to shrink more , burn easier, and I don't know just doesn't work the best for me, I feel I can wrap anything in monocote and make it look great,,,,, usually that is.

I won't circum to spending money on a plane time and time again, I'll buy the plane once and repair it until I'm tired of repairing the same plane, (Which can take many years) then its on to a new project for me.

Flyin day is almost here for me, I've been able to get out everynight with my FO in the backyard so far this week and I'm going out there right now, Ihave about 10 minutes left of light... Yee haaa Twist Time looks like a cloudy but not rainy Saturday this weekend,,, Thank GOD I say.
