I am happy to report I got 6 fifteen minute plus flights in yesterday on the Twist. I did 3 at lunchtime at the field near work and 3 in the evening out at my dad's. I am really starting to see improvement in my hovering and knife edge skills. With as much flying as I have been doing lately my take offs, landings, and basic aerobatics are becoming second nature. I don't even have to think about anything. Before I know it I am in the air, set up for a hover, and then the concentration begins. At the risk of sounding corny (not that I would be the first one on this thread to do so,
talking planes
) I would say it almost a Zen like experience. The thumbs do what they are supposed to without any though, and I am just enjoying the experience, or in the zone so to speak. I have never been there with this plane up till now.
Planning more flying for this weekend. Weather is suppose to be a bit rainy and cloudy so we will see. Hope you all are able to burn some fuel too.
