Sure the Cessna would require more flying skills than a trainer because its faster and more responsive, but then a 4* and a Tiger 2 are also faster and more responsive so from that point of view I don't see much difference. I can't comment on how solid a build the Cessna may be. The Tiger 2 is a sturdy build. I had a Cessna 182 that was banged up. I fixed it up and it was a fantastic flyer. It wasn't any harder to fly than my Tiger 2, just different. Also the top wing planes are a bit easier to see than the bottom wings. I prefer tail draggers because they stand up better on our grass field, no front steering linkage to get bumped out of position! If you hold off on the Cessna flying, I would look at the Tiger 2. It is set up so that you can start it off as a trike gear, and then switch it to a tail dragger after you get used to flying it. [8D]
