I would never drill a hole in the canopy myself, drilling a hole in the cockpit floor works well and I have also installed a small bag of silica inside the pilot bust (the bags that are shipped with alot of different electronic equipment works well) and then drill a small hole in the back of your bust-this will absorb the condensation when needed
