I have always used UP valves with great success. I looked into using the Jet Tronic, but with gear doors it appears you need two different valves plus a sequencer, which gets really expensive. For those of you experienced with Jet Tronic, am I mistaken?
Nope, you got it right. Two valves of either type and a sequencer are required unless you use a UP sequencing valve... Of course there are ways you can do it with a button valve actuated by the gear legs, but that has its own disadvantages...
