Guys which are better for retracts and brakes ? Appreciate any input. I expect the servo operated valves are a lot cheaper but the electronic type seem a lot easier!

just leave the idea with servos ,links and room for them.....
and go with the best: http://www.jet-tronics.de/
Horst is a great man and he has the best valves for us.[sm=thumbup.gif]with always great servis when you need it.
....the best valves for only the best jets
...what else you could ask for!

In my opinion the electronic valves are great for gear, however, I am not going to use them for brakes again.
The jetronics valve does work very well for brakes but depletes the air very quickly. For intermediate brake settings it 'pulses' the air and a standard size air tank can be emptied in a matter of seconds. If you're not worried about multiple applications of brakes then they are good but I prefer the mechanical brake valves.

I have always used UP valves with great success. I looked into using the Jet Tronic, but with gear doors it appears you need two different valves plus a sequencer, which gets really expensive. For those of you experienced with Jet Tronic, am I mistaken?

Hi
For landing gear i use Bob Violet high flow valves. I dont like the electronic on the gear, because when i switch the power off the electronic valve releases the airpressure. This will lead to that the gear will not stay locked. This is why i use a Jet tronic valve on the airbrake on my Eurofighter. i have all the switches etc. on a tray inside the airbrake. So when i turn of the power i can simply push the airbrake down manually
