I have to agree with you that the Weatronics team was very responsive to the problem. We saw the problem while testing the unit with the syn. module on a JR and reported it back to them. We had the solution within a week along with a an additional modification for them. I am very happy with their response to the problem and suggestion. I think having a Weatronics discussion section would be great once the receivers start shipping.
