Dan, it should work great for your purposes. I had an older Realflight Deluxe and it helped me a lot with flying upside down, rudder inputs, etc. It was not sensitive enough for 3D moves, hovering, etc. The new G2 is much better in every way. This is a terriffic time to be ordering a simulator....:-)
