From: Center of the Flyover States,
Thanks for the link to WinZip. I will have to try that.
On the topic of recordings in G2, you can try your hand with warbird formation flying through the use of recordings. Just record yourself flying your favorite warbird doing a very smooth racetrack pattern. You will have to start the recording by…. Clicking on……..Options……”Start Recording”……..Take off and fly your smooth pattern and land. Immediately save the recording by clicking on…..”Stop Recording”…..you will prompted to give it a name so type in something in Save AS such as P-51-a.
Then move your plane slightly to the side on the runway (collisions can occur) and on the menu go back to …….Options……check the box on your previously named recording…..OK……., but then immediately go back to …..Options…….and click on “Start Recording”…..
Then the challenge comes to taking off with your recorded plane and staying with it in formation. Once your complete the flight immediately save this as a second recording by clicking on ……”Stop Recording”…and save it with something such as P-51-b.
By keeping this up you might get a flight of four P-51’s going if your computer has enough speed, ram and video memory.
RC Flight Sims and especially G2 is worth the money. .....Been flyin' them since the crude Dave Brown RC sim on a Commodore 64!
