As I suspected, the rubber bands that I use for my SS are #32's. I use two of them looped together.

I don't know if it makes any difference, but I put two of these double bands parallel to the wing chord and I criss-cross the other two. Whatever you do though, use 4 of these to hold the wing on, two will not be enough.
