Tonight I has was able to glue up one wing panel. I have carbon fiber running from the root rib all the way to the center. I am really glad I was able to pull that off, since it appears the spar is spliced too plus notched.[X(] If you look carefully look in the wheel well and look at the elevation of the spar you can see it.[X(] I was able to make a slot (drilled two 1/8 holes with a 12" bit and a needle file) and was able to insert a 1/4" wide 1/32 thick piece of carbon which is epoxied between the spar and the joiner. My wing will not fail at that joint. I am beginning to like this plane other than the really shabby spar design and overall glue joints which really suck.
