What about alpa trainer of Hangar 9, its also RTF, it comes with 4 channel quattro radio, and .45 Evolution PTS (progressive trainer system), its really easy as compared to P51 Mustang, but depends upon your skill, naturally with those airplanes of Hangar 9 one advantage is the flight simulator, which is cockpit master, thought its not very good simulator, but it gives a fair good idea about gimbals, about your hand movements I mean your thumb on controllers, how many times you crash, your plane is there. Hangar 9 is also releasing a simulator called FSone with maximum best features, but its gonna be more than $200 with controller and radio like buddy box. I would say Alpha 60 trainer is best choice of Hangar 9. I crashed my Mustang but after doing many solos on my high wing trainer, I can fly confidently, but you are all right, an instructor at a local club is must, without an instructor, its really impossible to fly, I dont wanna discourage anyone, but its my short experience as Im also a beginner, but confidently fly solo.
