RE: Cessna Float Plane Project
I believe the G38 will provide sufficient power for this plane. It will not be the typical slam the throttle and pop into the air takeoffs that I normally see at the air field, more like advance the throttle, build speed on step, break the water once sufficient speed is established. Once in the air, I expect a power setting less than half throttle will provide scale like performance. Only time will tell!
Work is progressing slower than I like so I didn't get any glass work done this week, maybe next week, here's the paint scheme that we're looking at.
