Hi there new to gas ! Hey I have been modifying & running certain weed eater & chain saw motors for my planes for some time now & what the rest of these guys are telling you is correct.
NEVER trust the factory settings! Also, as with alcohol motors, as they break in, they lean out! so you might have to richen the high end every min. or two if you are doing a full throtle break in run. Also, I have learned from my NASCAR days that racing fule will run cooler than pump gas & give more power but you must run a cooler plug or close the gap up on your present plug a couple thou. and get the same effect. This is the only fule I use for my gas planes. 110 + octain! What a BOOST! & they do run cooler & smoother. I also like 40 to one, 50 is pressin it, more so with a new motor. It doesn't sound to me like you stuck the motor, but you might pull the carbs off & see if you bent the rods.
If you rotate the cylinder to top dead & look in the intake port you should be able to see the rod ,& if it looks slanted.... it's time for parts. some times they will still run like this but just wont seem to want to rev up. Good Luck, I'm Here for ya bud.
O Yea, HI YEALL !! New Guy .. R.C.
