I shut it down, adjust the needles then start back up..When it gets close I just fly it then adjust after each flight until I get it perfect..tuning on the ground will get you close, but what the motor does in the air is more important and most of the time once you get in the air, the tune will change..thats why I start it on the rich side (not too rich though) then lean after each flight as necessary
