Default RE: A/M Radios

most transmitters if narrowbanded will have a gold ama sticker on it.if it does not it can be checked at radio south the rx is a different matter futaba made 2 am narrow band rx on 4 ch model 114 and a 7 ch model 117 stay away if it has the r-4f or the r-7h not sure on the exact model number of the wide band but the 3 digits for the narrow band are the 114 and 117.also check the battery connections inside the transmitter, they are a spring type make sure they are not cracked or flattened.i replaced all the connecters like that im my tx with the j style connecter .bought a crimping tool and the pin kits to do it so i would have no soldered connections to worry about.
