Hmm, my DPM Ultimate is 5.5lbs and pull out is not that good really. At 6lbs you may want to run 30% in the OS70, but you'll certainly find out.
Novabill is correct, I have infact hovered my daughters trainer, but if it starts to fall out there is little chance of getting it back you just have to fly out. No doubt Chip Hyde could hover it 'til it ran out of fuel, but I'm not that good or even close.
I plan to drop 1/2 a lb or more from my Ulty to improve 3D performance. The 3 standard size servos will be replaced with 2 minis and 1 micro on the throttle. The nose cone is going to be ditched, the aluminum LG replaced with CF, reduce wheel size to 1.5" light weight wheels, replace the 10oz tank with a 6oz(10oz is almost 20 minutes of flight time) and replace the 600mah nicd pack with a 225mah nimh. You might consider some things to reduce weight where you can, it really helps with 3D flight.
