I'm WELL IMPRESSED
Time for an onboard glow I think.
Didg,
I had the same problem with my Rascal, couldn't get the idle low enough to get a landing. I had a small OS 48FS on my Rascal at the time. I put an onboard glow system in and I could get the idle down to a slow putter. I would get it in the air, put about 2-3 clicks of throttle on and watch it walk down the runway about 6 feet up. I was asked to not do that too often as it took it a while to get down the runway, it flew so slow.
I've been kicking myself for selling it everytime I see another Rascal. I want to get another but I may get the 110 instead of another 40. I have so many planes I don't have to sneak it in, the wife wouldn't notice another set of wings or fuse.
Try the flat turns, they are awesome to see.
