Default RE: Set up for Rascal 40

Salty25,

Thanks for pointing out a potential problem.
I read through your thread, I'll keep an eye on the tightness of my engine mounting bolts and see what happens.

Cheers H.H.

Sounds like you're another satisfied Sig customer.
It's my first model from them and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Excellent instructions, excellent kit, goes together without any problems or modifications, (unusual in my experience) and an excellent flyer.
All ARTF's should be like this.
Well worth the extra expense, in fact I'd say they're good value for money.

Is it the 26cc MVVS you have in your 110? I've heard they're terrific engines.
I always had in mind to get the 110 after I'd tried the 40, does it handle bumpy air any better than the 40?
I still haven't made up my mind re engine choice for the 110. If I decide on gas it'll be the 26cc MVVS for sure, but I'm undecided if I want to give up the sound of a four stroke for the cleanliness and economy of gas, so I may go for a YS140, dunno yet, got to get the plane first.

Cheers,
Didg.
