My Futaba 7UAFS has a count up timer that is always on screen. It can be zeroed at any time by simply pressing 2 buttons at the same time. I usually do this as I taxi out. This way I know how long I have been running on a given tank of fuel as opposed to time remaining. Works well for me and very convenient.
