I didn't think you could buddy a JR to a Futaba. Isn't there a little compatibility problem there?
The Futaba has to be the instructor with the cord he specified, won't work the other way as I understand it.
I do prefer to stay within brands but.........
The Hangar 9 PTS Mustang Trainer comes with the "conbination" cord. The JR TX is the master and the Futaba is the buddy box. The Futaba TX is not compatible with the JR receiver, so it can't be the instructor box.
