Not sure what the scale is, and don't know if it can be converted to an A model. You'll need to check with Air Magic for that info. (I'm not an expert builder, although I can get by. This one was not built by me.)

I didn't know there was one out your way. I took the colour scheme off the example parked outside the RCAF museum at Trenton Airforce base. (See pic below. One of a roll of 24 I took.) Obviously, my jet is not true scale, but that is ok. I'm not a scale competitor. I just love the look of the f5, and this was the best way to get what I wanted. Thanks also for the squadron info.
