RE: Throttle-cut on twins
Thanks. I have the 8UAP Super and the luxury you mention doesn’t seem to exist. However I used another mix and mixed CH7 - > CH7 at –80% and –80% and believe the same result was achieved.
Hope the following information will help someone else avoid problems.
I have now spent the better part of half a day partially because the book appears to be incorrect and my own lack of knowledge only to discover offset was being set incorrectly. Ch7 offset needs to be set at throttle stick setting of 50% instead of zero. Setting the offset with throttle at low throttle (zero) always resulted in a dead spot somewhere in #2 throttle. The dead spot can be removed with a number of other ATV settings but it is certainly not the correct method.
I look forward to purchasing new radios as soon as but not until the ‘antiquated close pin frequency and hope no one turns on’ problem is resolved.
