SWB Mamba
Well, I think SWB's argument for the higher price was better quality in a side-by-side comparison. Like I said, when I saw it at F.J. last year, I was thoroughly impressed. It is VERY light and the machining tolerances are very tight. The lack of electric start probably falls under the "every ounce counts" rule, which I try to follow in all of my airplanes--marginal performance or not.
They have also built their own balancing mache that is extremely sensitive (which may be overkill, but ok), and does a phenomenal job and precision balancing--which ensures that your 100K will be smooth as silk every time. All in all, I don't doubt that it is worth a little more.
But my previous argument stands, and I won't consider buying one until they clean up their act.
