Default Ultimate Maiden FINALLY

After having the Ultimate for a year i finally maiden the Ultimate yesterday. It has a Rcignitions G-62 swinging MSC 22/8 prop and all i can say is i am a happy camper. The maiden required 2 clicks down elevator , and was very uneventfull which i like in a first flight . The motor is new and was pretty tight to begin with ,but after 5 flights it started running better and better . I didnt tach the rpms but it is very impressive . I cant believe how rock solid this bird is . It didnt do any thing funny and is very stable. I really was a little hestitate to begin with and thought it wouldnt fly as good as it did for some odd reason. I have cg right at 6.5 and will move it back a little bit as landings are a little hot but not bad using the landing function set up on my Hitec Eclipse radio. I had alerons set a little to low on high rates at first hearing that they are super responsive but after one flight i cranked them up and wow does this bird roll quick. But as soon as i let up on the sticks it stops and doesnt over rotate at all. I have the Pink version and it is very visible in the air. I was really not ready to quit flying this bird after the sun got to low to fly and that was after 6 flights. I can also get the plane loaded in my Dodge full size van with no problem fully assembled. I was really impressed on how easy Ralphs motor was so easy to set the needles and it has no mid range burble at all and idles great. Thats all for now , thanks Pat for all the help and advice.
