I'm flying a TrexSE. I never had a problem with low battery issues. I have 2 trex's and use the same batteries on both. I just got inside from flying the one with the problem. I turned off the AVCS so it's like a regular gyro. It works GREAT. When I turn the AVCS back on the jerky tail problem comes back?
