Well, I suspect you guys are right. I DO have another receiver that I'll swap in. Do you think its worthwhile sending one in? I looked into it once and Futaba charges $15.00 just to look at it and then the charges begin for the fix. So you have about $18.00 in postage and diagnostic fees right from the get go. The last receiver I bought at the LHS was right at $50.00. Not sure its worth it when you don't know what the savings are.....anyway, thanks, guys. As always, the forum came through and I do appreciate it.
Only you can decide if it's worth it or not. Postage shouldn't be that high. I recall someone posting not long ago about sending in a receiver for service. The response was it was shot and they were offered a brand new one at a REALLY good price. It could be something as simple as a break in the antenna wire, which would be an inexpensive repair.
