Fix is to keep it out of the sun... common problem with f/g fuselages. As a matter of fact GSP even has a caution about it in the instructions.

Been flying this plane for a year now. Just ran in to this just last week end. I had heard of the fiberglass fuse warping in the sun. Mine hasn't done that but got some SERIOUS hor stab flutter on a high speed pass last Sunday. Control surfaces checked out OK. But the tail section seemed to have more flex than usual. Now it was a sunny 92 degree day and the plane was sitting out. I put it in the shade and left it cool. took it back up and strafed the run way again....no flutter... again no flutter... and again no flutter. My diagnosis is the sun and heat softening the fiberglass. Anybody else had this? Any slick fixes out there to stiifen the tail? Thought maybe a can of insulating foam artfully and sparingly applied.... LynnR
