On the hyper 8 thread, like page 1or2 its one of the pro set up sheets, I forget what weight it was, but check it out. Im running 50 front 40 rear but it all depends on the track too. As for the filter, it should have a screen of some kind in it, check the bag of goodies, might have over looked it. I know mine had it already in it, it came 80% prebuilt.
