In general, the Futaba stuff that's listed as being for "digital servos" is the heavier gauge wire and components to handle a higher current flow. If you look at servo extensions from Futaba for digital servos and the standard extension side by side, it's pretty easy to see the larger diameter wire in the digital servo lead.
