A switch is a switch. It must pass power in one position and cut it off in another. The ignition unit doesn't know or care who it's made by or what it was originally designed for as long as it does the basics and passes current.
Some switches are utter crap. Dead sticks are bad. This makes me want a switch that isn't crap. Is this a logical thought train?

Check out this switch... I love it. Anything with a life-time warranty is great in my book. Been using this for years and it has been flawless. I now have the 1 with the LED... kept me from leaving the ignition on once now... friggen scatterhead.
