You need to experiment with various props to find the best one for hovering. If the plane always seems to want to climb even at lower throttle settings,try less pitch and/or cutting down the prop 1/2" or so. For me the best hovering was achieved with a prop/engine combo that hovered and held at 1/2 throttle,with just a click or 2 more it started climbing slowly,a click or 2 less and it would drop slowly. The summer heat can ruin this best case combination with many a glow engine and some gassers if under powered at the start,makes me wonder if I should have a summer and winter prop?
