Scale High Wing ARF ?'s
Hey guys! Been doing some forum searches and research regarding Piper J-3's. I have a few questions that I hope some of you would be willing to clear up.
First some background. I've been flying a SSE for my second plane. Now I find myself flying my heli for that adrenaline rush that I need at least once a week. However, I've been wanting to get a plane to fly during those "cool off" periods between heli flights, as well as those days when you just want to sail around the sky with some sense of relaxation. The SSE is cool and all, but I'd like to get into something bigger and more scale.
I know that I would like something scale and at least a 60 size. I especially like the look of high wing civilian aircraft, as well as some of the vintage bi-planes. I've been looking at the different Piper Cub offerings by different manufacturers. So:
Question 1: I'm familiar with Cubs and the Monokoupe. What other airplane ARF models are along these lines (high wing, golden era of aviation, etc.) I'm not quite familiar with the various names of these types of aircrafts (Cub, MonoKoupe, ????)
Question 2: I really like the new Zenoah G20 engine (very cool). Does anyone know if you can fit one into a WM 1/5 (60 size) Cub without destroying the cowl?
Question 3: What other high wing ARF's will go well with this engine?
Thanks guys!
