Default RE: Ultra Rc Evolution

Yikes. I used to live in Indiana, also in Michigan. I know it's a different kind of heat for sure! I guess I forget how it is though!!

Anyway, my weights on 2 of the evolutions are identical within a few grams on everything.
Here's a basic rundown..
Fuse 1067 g Fuse 2 1073g
Wing L 322g Wing L 332g
Wing R 329g Wing R 340g
Stab L 91g Stab L 88g
Stab R 90g Stab R 90g
Cowl 144g Cowl 148g
Wing tube 54g
Stab tube 10g
Landing gear with struts 75g
Wheel pants 31 g each
There is also a hardware package for the glow and a few additional parts for the electric which I won't use I don't think.
So around 2250 grams bare.
Both of mine arrived with holes in the boxes, one sorta crushed. No damage to either plane that I have seen so far. Only a little damage probably at the factory to one stab tip. Looks a little crushed. Not sure if I'll ask for a replacement yet.

Quality of the fuse is pretty good. I'm impressed with all the work they put into it to make it lighter.
Quality of the wings are ok. Coulda used a sanding before covering. Still not bad.
Fiberglass and paint work is really good. Except for the crooked cutouts for the chin cowls.
One of the canopies doesn't fit to the angle at the back and there is about 1/4 or more of a gap at the top. Speaking of the canopy, it is the real thin stuff. Take that how you want to. My opinion is thicker adds more weight so it's probably not so bad.
I won't be painting it now.
I like the way it attaches to the fuse.
Soo.....
Yes I am very pleased with it and I am a fairly particular builder. It's as good as any other arf I've seen on the market. I am very suprised at how big the fuse is. Nice!!
So, if you have been waiting to order for weights. Git-r-dun!!!!
Looks good Bryan, I'll take another outta the next batch!!
