What Parrthd said!!!!!! I don't even buy extensions (battery or servo) anymore. I will extend the battery or servo leads by soldering in new wire to make it the length I need it to be. Much cheaper, and one less connection to fail!!!!

Soldering is a skill that all RC modelers should have IMHO. My dad taught me to solder properly when I was 8 years old, and although I hated him at the time for acting like a drill instructor about it I'm glad he did it. There's not 3 days that go by without me needing to solder something! If you don't know how to solder it's a skill well worth learning.
